It is critical for the rapidly growing population with heart rhythm disorders to have access to the small number of providers with this unique lifesaving skill set.
Maintenance of quality requires policy makers to understand the complexity of electrophysiology practice in which the most intensive, demanding, high-value procedures in the field of medicine must be made widely available.
